Personal property coverage extends to credit cards. Most policies will pay up to $500 to cover the unauthorized use of your credit cards.

Your homeowners insurance policy also covers the expense of having debris, left as a result of a covered peril, removed. The limit for this coverage is part of the overall property damage limit.

Trees, plants and shrubs around the house are usually covered for up to 5% of the insurance on the house, up to $500 per item. Trees, shrubs & plants are covered against theft, fire, lightning, explosion, vandalism, riot and falling aircraft. Such items however, are not covered against windstorm damage.
